Technical Depth
File system monitoring uses platform-native APIs: ReadDirectoryChanges (Windows), FSEvents (macOS), inotify (Linux). File content extraction supports 50+ formats via Tika integration. Metadata indexing includes file size, creation/modification dates, MIME type, and directory structure. Changes are queued and processed asynchronously with deduplication to prevent redundant graph updates.
